Andy Murray will begin his Wimbledon campaign on Tuesday when he plays Nikolay Davydenko in the third match on Centre Court at around 17:00 BST.

Murray holds a 5-4 head-to-head lead over the former world number three, who has slipped to 47th in the rankings ahead of their first meeting on grass.

"I feel great, training has gone really well and I'm raring to go," fourth seed Murray wrote in his BBC column.

Rafael Nadal, Petra Kvitova and eight other Britons also play on day two.

Kvitova begins her title defence against Akgul Amanmuradova of Uzbekistan in the opening match on Centre Court.

They are followed on to that arena by second seed Nadal and his Brazilian opponent Thomaz Bellucci.

Play on Court One starts with fifth seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga against 2002 champion Lleyton Hewitt, before world number two Victoria Azarenka meets Irina Falconi.

A day on from her sister Venus's elimination, Serena Williams begins her quest for a fifth Wimbledon title against Barbora Zahlavova Strycova second on Court Two.

Ninth seed Juan Martin del Potro and former world number one Caroline Wozniacki also play on that court.

More to follow.
